Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) govern the services provided by ÄlvStröm Städning och Utbildning (“Service Provider,” “we,” “us,” “our”) to you, the customer (“Service Recipient,” “you,” “your”), through our website and service forms. By using our cleaning services, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Overview

We provide various cleaning services, including regular home cleaning, deep cleaning, and specialized cleaning. You may select your preferred service through our quote or service request forms, where you can also provide specific instructions regarding your cleaning preferences.

2. Service Schedule and Availability

The agreed cleaning frequency, day, and time will be confirmed based on availability. Preferred cleaning times are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, but we will notify you in advance of any necessary adjustments.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • The price for services will be outlined in your quote, which includes VAT and the RUT deduction, if applicable.
  • Payment is due via invoice within 14 days of receipt. Late payments may incur an 8% late fee.
  • You are responsible for covering any RUT deductions denied by Skatteverket.

4. Cancellation Policy

You must cancel or reschedule your cleaning at least 48 hours in advance to avoid fees:

  • Cancellations 24-48 hours prior: 25% charge.
  • Cancellations less than 24 hours prior: 50% charge.
  • If our cleaners arrive and are unable to perform the service due to reasons under your control (e.g., no access to the property), a 50% charge will apply.

5. Service Quality

Our services are performed with care and professionalism. If you are not satisfied with the service, you must notify us within 24 hours after the service. We will first attempt to resolve the issue by re-performing the cleaning. If that is not possible, a price reduction or compensation may be offered.

6. Cleaning Supplies and Equipment

We provide our own cleaning supplies unless otherwise agreed. You have the option to request specific equipment (such as a vacuum cleaner or mop) when ordering the service. A fee may apply for the use of this equipment.

7. Liability and Insurance

We are covered by a comprehensive liability insurance policy with Trygg-Hansa. If any damage occurs during the cleaning service, you must notify us immediately or within 24 hours. Our insurance will cover damages according to its terms, excluding pre-existing damages or fragile items.

8. Amendments to Services

Any changes to the type or frequency of cleaning services must be requested through our service forms or by contacting us directly. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service with reasonable notice.

9. Data Protection

We comply with GDPR and protect any personal data you provide when booking our services. For more details, refer to our Privacy Policy.

10. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding each other’s business or personal matters unless disclosure is required by law.

11. Force Majeure

Neither party will be held responsible for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond their reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, etc.).

12. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement by giving written notice. Services will be completed for any ongoing appointments unless otherwise agreed.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes regarding this Agreement shall first be addressed through negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved in the Swedish District Court.
